Me…ask anyone what I am about and invariably the word “Football” will come up within the first 20 seconds, usually closely followed by the words “West” and “Ham” and sometimes followed by the words “Poor”, “Tortured” and “Soul”. I can’t join in the conversations as much as I would like with my Manchester United and Chelsea supporting mates, they just don’t understand what a European Cup Winners Cup is when I chip into their Champions League discussion.
So I focus on other things, things that pass by under the radar, things that can dramatically affect football but often go un-noticed. Things which I hope will make you offer an opinion on something new, be it in agreement or not.

Just a small point, but your Chelsea mates must be very young or possibly glory supporters if they can’t discuss the Cup Winners Cup. The Blues have won it twice!

I think that highlights the point all too well! I acknowledge there are lifelong Chelsea fans out there, but having lived in SW London for nearly a decade it was amazing how many blue shirts appeared when Mr Abramovich appeared on the scene…
